The son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, he was trained by his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the art of classical music and Qawwali.He won many awards in bollywood film industry and he become a icon of romantic and slow songs in Bollywood film industry.He also won many international awards as well like in 2010, he won “Best International Act” at the UK Asian Music Awards (UK AMAs).
