Intelligent pc responder is software that provides different facilities to phone users. The objective of Intelligent PC Responder was to develop software for telephone security. The person using this system can mask his voice and talk to another person who is using telephone set. The principal concept behind was to gain knowledge about voice masking, which is extensively used these days in game programming, speech therapy and intelligence agencies. The system works using Telephone Application Programming Interface TAPI for dial up purposes. The dial up software in the software can only make and disconnect calls from PC to phone only. For voice masking, the system uses Fast Fourier Transform FFT for taking the voice signal from time domain to frequency domain. In frequency domain the signal is masked and then brought back to time domain using Inverse Fourier Transform IFFT. In addition the software can also record telephone conversation or voice from mike in wave format and can also play it.
